Sometimes, all you need for your system to be up and running is a replacement transformer – but what if you are unable to trace the manufacturer and order your replacement? Here is how we can help.
Different designers follow different methodologies for transformer design, based on the requirements of the end application. Hence, two transformers with the same input-output parameters can be of different sizes and configurations from each manufacturer.
If you have had a transformer that has worked consistently over years of use, then it is very likely that to have been optimised for that application. Although you can try to fit in a readily available model, re-engineering the product adds better value.
If you know the specifications of your old transformer(input voltages, output voltages, capacity or output current), along with the approximate size, then you can reach out to us for a quick quotation.
What if you don’t know any of those parameters? Can the transformer still be re-engineered? Of course, no worries. If the transformer is small and can be removed from its mounting, then we caninspect it at our premises. We’ll run a few tests and see if we can reengineer it without opening it up. That doesn’t work? We can take it apart to determine a few critical parameters – then using our design methodology find the best fit.
